Seminario “Juventud, desarrollo e interculturalidad a través del Programa Juventud en Acción”

El pasado día 09/10/2008, tuvo lugar en el IES Vázquez Díaz de Nerva (Huelva) el seminario “Juventud, desarrollo e interculturalidad a través del Programa Juventud en Acción”,

El objetivo último del seminario era trabajar sobre los resultados de nuestra experiencia, con el ánimo de que los intercambios juveniles se multipliquen por la geografía onubense en el futuro y se afianze la red de trabajo juvenil internacional en la provincia de Huelva.

Con una participación de 50 personas, los temas tratados fueron el objetivo de la movilidad en Europa; el Programa Juventud en Acción; Los intercambios juveniles; el tema de trabajo; las competencias del monitor durante el intercambio; metodología de trabajo durante el intercambio; resolución de conflictos y seguridad; la evaluación y valorización del aprendizaje no formal. Asimismmo tuvimos la oportunidad de eschuchar la experiencia de los participantes en este intercambio, y de aquellos que participaron en "Let´s work together all as one" desarrollado en Norwich (Reino Unido) en el mes de abril.

Las principales conclusiones del Seminario fueron:

1. El Programa “Juventud en Acción” es una oportunidad para trabajar las necesidades socio-culturales de nuestro entorno más inmediato cooperando con organizaciones de otros países.
2. El intercambio juvenil “Nerva 2008” ha supuesto la dinamización de asociaciones juveniles en Nerva, que actualmente trabajan las actividades juveniles coordinadas con la Delegación de Juventud.
3. El intercambio juvenil “Nerva 2008”, ha permitido trabajar el desarrollo local interpretando sus opciones relevantes para jóvenes menores de 18 años por primera vez.

4. El intercambio ha contribuido decisivamente en el desarrollo personal de los participantes.

A table filled with food and drinks, arranged by youngsters from Haskovo in the Spanish town Nerva, has been emptied in no time during an international youth exchange a few days ago. In order to represent Bulgaria, the youngsters put on the table flat cake with salt and paprika, flat-sausages, yellow cheese, wine and rakia.

Besides the girls and boys from Haskovo, the Bulgarian cultural evening was also attended by 20 Bulgarians living there. The Spaniards were impressed by the Bulgarian folk music.

The topic of the international exchange was ''What can we do about the development of our cities?'' The volunteers from Haskovo have been talking about the lack of free access for disabled people to some of the public places in our town.

As a souvenir, the youngsters from UNESCO club and the Informational Consultative Youth Centre have taken a board with kisses from all the participants in the exchange.

Los logros de Nerva 2008/Nerva 2008´s achieves

1. El presente proyecto ha promovido la ciudadanía activa de los jóvenes en general, ayudándoles a detectar las necesidades de su entorno y sensibilizándoles para que actúen al respecto, así como su ciudadanía europea en particular, trabajando los valores europeos.

This project has promoted the active citizenship in general, helping our youngsters to detect the needs of their closer environment, and the European Citizenship working the aims of the Union.

2. El presente proyecto ha permitido la movilidad de jóvenes con dificultades económicas, que han viajado al extranjero y se han relacionado con otras culturas por primera vez en sus vidas.

This project made possible the mobility of young people for the first time in their lives, specially boys and girls with economical difficulties. This group has travelled abroad, has met other cultures and has exchanged experiences and ideas for doing this world a better place to live in.

3. Hemos conseguido la participación de los jóvenes en todas las fases del proyecto, sin lo que no hubiera sido posible el impacto, los efectos multiplicadores y la continuidad del mismo. A pesar de la edad del participante, el monitor a actuado más como facilitador y mediador.

We have reached the active participation of the youngsters in every stage of the project. Without this fact it would not be possible the impact results and multiplying effects. The leaders act as facilitators and mediators thanks to the youngsters´ maturity and responsibility.

4. Hemos promovido el Diálogo Intercultural y afianzado las bases del mismo en nuestros participantes: valores de respeto, igualdad y solidaridad.

This project has promoted the Intercultural Dialog and has worked its bases: the values of respect, equality and solidarity.

5. Hemos intercambiado experiencias de carácter socio-cultural enfocadas al desarrollo local y dotado de la motivación y herramientas necesarias para el desarrollo de iniciativas juveniles que tiendan a los presupuestos de la Agenda XXI.

This project has made possible the coming up of ideas and potential social and cultural initiatives that will be canalised by other actions of the programme in the following months.

6. Hemos demostrado las oportunidades que ofrece trabajar en equipos multidisciplinares y multiculturales para el desarrollo existoso de iniciativas socio-culturales. La cooperación es una oportunidad.

This exchange has showed the advantages of working in intercultural teams and presented the international cooperation as a big opportunity.

7. Hemos transmitido a nuestros participantes la idea de que el desarrollo de sus ciudades está en sus manos y pueden hacer algo al respecto: creación de organizaciones voluntarias que ayuden a determinados sectores sociales; diversificación de actividades de ocio; lucha contra el cambio climático; adopción de hábitos de vida saludable. La necesidad de todos nuestros participantes era creer que su situación puede cambiar, y ahora saben que pueden hacerlo por si mismos.

We have given to our youngsters the keys for changing their personal and environmental situation.

8. Hemos contribuido al desarrollo personal de los participantes con esta experiencia, dotándoles de capacidad de comunicación, sensibilizándolos sobre las necesidades de su entorno, proporcionándoles seguridad para defender sus ideas, y presentándoles la cooperación internacional como una oportunidad.

We have contributed to the personal development of our youngsters giving them security, communication tools and decision to defend their ideas.

Evaluación/Evaluation

1. Expectativas/Expectations:

Las razones apuntadas por nuestros jóvenes para participar en este intercambio derivadan mayoritariamente de inquietudes interculturales: conocer a nuevos amigos, aproximación a otras culturas, afición a los viajes y perfeccionamiento del idioma extranjero. Sin que ellos lo supieran estaban apuntando los objetivos de la movilidad en Europa. El 100% de los participantes afirma que el intercambio ha respondido a sus expectativas iniciales.

The main reasons given by our younsters to take part in this exhange are related with intercultural interests: making friends abroad, knowing other cultures, enjoying the travel, improving in a foreign language. They were answering to the main objetives of the mobility in Europe.
The 100% of the participants declare that this exchange have answered to their initial expectations.

2. Organización/Organisation:

El ámbito organizativo menos valorado por los participantes fue la comida. Quizás sea el ámbito donde las diferencias culturales se hagan más visibles. Es difícil acostumbrarse a una nueva dieta y horarios en una franja de tiempo tan corta. Respecto a las visitas, los actos institucionales y las entrevistas con los organismos públicos hicieron mella en los participantes. Respecto a la duración, las razones que apuntan los participantes es que el intercambio debía haber durado más tiempo. Para futuros proyectos plantearemos 10 días sin incluir las jornadas de viaje; Respecto al Programa de Actividades y actividades, se ha tendido a la heterogeneidad, pero es imposible responder a las expectativas de todos y cada uno de los participantes; Finalmente, valoramos positivamente que los participantes aprecien el trabajo de coordinación de los viajes. A nivel general, entendemos que la logística del intercambio ha sido adecuada.

The organisation area less valued by the participants was the meal. It can be the area where the cultural differences could be much more visible. Getting used to a new diet and meal times in ten days is not easy. About the visits, some boys and girls agree that some of them were boring. We will reduce the institutional and public acts the next time. About duration, this exchange was short. We recommend ten days without counting the travelling days. We have designed the Activities Programme in order to reach the diversity, but we did not answer to the personal aims of each participant. We are satisfied about the positive evaluation of the travels coordination. It took a lot of time to the coordinating team.
We conclude that the logistic of the exchange have been well considered by the participants.

3. Monitores/Leaders:

Uno de los ámbitos de evaluación que más nos preocupan es el trabajo del monitor. Nos interesaba saber la opnión del participante respecto a las funciones que el líder de un grupo de tener: cualifificación, mediación y competencias del ser y estar para desarrollar estas actividades.

One of the main working areas for us is the leader team. We were really interested in knowing the opinion of the youngsters. The 3 evaluation items have been: qualification, assistance and mediation and the competences related with the personality and suitable capacity.

4. Programa de actividades/Activities:

Se preguntó a los participantes que actividades, talleres y visitas del programa han sido sus favoritas, para saber qué métodos han funcionado mejor.

Se relacionan las 6 actividades más valoradas por orden de puntuación: Visita a las Jornadas Medievales de Cortegana; Taller de Risoterapia; Visita a Sevilla; Taller de Música Reciclada; Taller de Sensibilización Medioambiental; Desarrollo de Iniciativas Socio-Culturales.

Participants were asked about their favourite activities, workshops and visits in order to know the methods that worked better. We list the 6 best valued activities in grading order: Visit to the Medium Age Festival in Cortegana; Laughter Therapy Workshop; Visit to Seville; Environmental Workshop and Initiatives Development Workshop.

5. Desarrollo personal/Personal Contribution:

La mayor parte de los participantes se presenta sensible para la detección de las necesidades de su entorno más inmediato y convencido de que puede hacer algo al respecto; Este mismo porcentaje reconoce haber intercambiado ideas y experiencias con sus compañeros de otros páises y reconoce las ventajas de trabajar en equipos interculturales a pesar de los obstáculos de comunicación. Y lo más importante, establece un antes y un después a raíz de esta experiencia.

A priori podemos afirmar que hemos cumplido los objetivos que nos proponíamos para con nuestros jóvenes, pero somos conscientes de que necesitamos tiempo para que los efectos multiplicadores (evaluación de impacto) nos lo confirme.

A fecha de hoy, podemos decir que se ha constituido una Asociación Juvenil en Nerva con motivo de la participación en un intercambio juvenil europeo. Actualmente trabajan en actividades para jóvenes coordinados con la Casa de la Juventud de Nerva.

Desde la organización, nos proponemos hacer reales las iniciativas planteadas en este intercambio a través del Programa Europeo Juventud en Acción, canalizándolas a través de "Iniciativas Juveniles" y el Servicio de Voluntariado Europeo.

Por lo pronto, el grupo de Bulgaria y Alemania están trabajando en nuevos intercambios juveniles para el año 2009.

The most part of participants present themselves sensible to detect the need of their closer environment and convinced about they can do something about it. They recognise that they had the opportunity for exchanging experiences and ideas and the advantages of working in intercultural teams in spite of the communication difficulties.
But the most important conclusion is that the notice the meaning of this experience in their lives.

At the beginning we could confirm that we have reach the non formal education objectives of this exchange, but we will wait to evaluate the impact and the multiplying effects in the following months.

At this moment we have a Youth Association in Nerva, created as a result of a Youth Exchange in April 2008. They are organising youth activities in collaboration with the Youth Information Centre of Nerva.

The organisation team of this exchange will help to our youngsters to making real the ideas and initiatives came up in this exchange. We will canalise them throw Action 2: “Youth Initiatives” and the European Volunteer Service.

Finally, UNESCO Club and Gemeinde of Moormerland are planning new exchanges for 2009, to make possible to continue working together.

We'll never forget this exchange!

Now we are at home in Bulgaria but we 'll never forget the days spent in Nerva!It was a great time!
We have new friends from Spain,Germany and Italy. We have learned a lot about the young people's life and initiatives and had fun in the workshops.The medieval fest was exciting and we enjoy it.
To say good bye to everybody was sad but we know that we shall meet again!

das Superprojekt

Hallo Leute : ) Die Bulgarische Nacht war Suuper .. es war lustig, wir hatten sher gute Laune und ihre Prásentation war auch gut .. zum Schluss gab es noch 2 traditionelle Tänze. heute hatten wir mal mehr Freizeit als sonst am Nachtmittag... super, denn es sind gerade mal wieder 40 grad x) ... Allerdings war heute nicht nur chillen am Pool angesagst, sondern wir mussten den Vormittag hart arbeiten. Das Thema unseres Austausch war ja wie sich Jugendliche für ihre Gemeinde oder ihre Stadt einsetzen können. An diesem Vormittag haben wir alle Gruppen gemeinsam darüber gesprochen und haben uns zum Schluss für die besten Ideen eine sozialen Porjektes entschieden. Als Erstes hat jede Nation entschieden weches Projekt sie sich vorstellen könnten. Eine Sammlung hatten wir schon gestern Abend erstellt aber in Teams aus Leuten aus den 4 Ländern. Dabei kamen ganz unterschiedliche Ideen heraus, weil ja jede Gruppe in ganz anderen Umgebungen lebt und deswegen andere Dinge verbessert werden müssen. von verschieden Ideen haben wir heute entschieden ein Projekt vorzubereiten welches Kindern aus sozialschwachen Familien helfen soll. Das Projekt sollte zu Moormerland passen, also haben wir uns überlegt eine Beaufsichtigung von Kindern im Alter von 5-8, die zu Hause nichts zu tun haben weil die Eltern keine Zeit und keine Lust haben sich um sie zu kümmern. Auch bei uns gibt es ja Kinder die Alkohliker als Eltern haben und eben die wollten wir mit einem netten Nachmittagsprogramm ansprechen, indem sie die Aufmerksamkeit bekommen die sie verdienen. Die treffen könnten im Juca stattfinden, da wir dort Platz haben und es viele Sport und Spielmöglichkeiten gibt. Die Italiener wollten für Jugendliche mehr Computer anschaffen, da es viele gibt die nicht ins Internet können, naja die Spanier wollten Jugendliche und Kinder über Alkohol aufklären und das Projekt der Bulgarier war die Verbesserung der Möglichkeiten Behindeter Menschen aus ihrer Stadt, denn für sie gibt es zu wenig Ausgangsmöglichkeiten und viele Wege sind für sie unpassierbar. Alle Guppen haben abgestimmt welches Projekt überzeugt hat... Bulgariens ; ) Ihre Präsentation war die Beste, obwohl unsere auch nicht schlecht war. Diese sozialgemeinen Projekte werden jetzt weiterverfolgt und die Leiterin aus Spanien hatte die Idee eines der Projekte oder sogar mehere, irgendwann in die Tat umzusetzten...

Quinto día y noche temática de BULGARIA

Hola Soy Julia y pertenezco al proyecto de encuentro. Esta siendo una esperiencia muy bonita estoy conociendo de otros paises sus culturas, las culturas de cada uno sus gastronomia y sus costumbres . El principio resuto un poco desconcertable por que no sabia como iba a superar la barrera de los idiomas pero me e dado cuenta que la amistad no tiene frontera como pòr ejemplo lo bien que nos llevamos con los italianos y con Mariana con los demas tambien vamos bien .
Esta tarde nos hemos reunido en grupos de ocho o nueve persona de diferentes paises y cada uno a dicho una iniciativa pero solo de cada grupo podian salir dos y luego entre toda la gente hemos sacado una por cada pais.La iniciativa de los bulgaros era poner mas ramplas en los super, bares etc....
La de los españoles es decir nosotros hemos defendido que se deben hacer más reuniones para avisar a los jovenes de problema que con lleva el alcohol porque cada vez los jóvenes empiezan a beber antes y tienen más libertades para comprar alcohol ademas parec que sin alcohol los jovenes no se divierten.
Los alemanes han propuesto que debe haber mas ayuda para los jovenes que se encuentran sin padre y los Italianos han propues que hayan más ordenadores para utilizarlos.
por la noche fue la fiesta de Bulgaria en la cual tuvo gran participación los Bulgaros residentes en Nerva y la Comarca Minera, algo que fue bastante bonito tanto para ellos como para nosostros. en esta fiesta proyectaron videos de su pais, pusieron musica típica, la bailaron y tambíen nos ofrecieron gran cantidad de productos de su tierra para poder degustarlo.

Heiss, Heiss, Heiss ...

Auch heute am 6 . Tag wo wir hier in Nerva sind, ist es wieder sehr heiss. Im Schatten kann man es zwar gut aushalten, aber in der Mittagssonne geht nur unter die Klimaanlage stellen oder in den Pool gehen. Heute morgen allerdings, war es noch sehr angenehm. Doch das Aufstehen fiel uns schwer. Beim Fruehstueck gibt es mal wieder trockenes Brot - Wie das Land so das Brot ( Zitat von Janni ;-)). Naja danach haben wir dann wieder einen Workshop gemacht, wir wurden in drei Gruppen eingeteilt und drei verschiedene Betreuer haben dann Sachen mit uns gemacht. Ich war als erstes bei einem Spiel wo wir uns die Augen verbinden mussten und Sachen fuehlen mussten, alle waren total leise. Das war sehr angenehm, so zu relaxen im Gegensatz zu den anderen vorigen Tagen. Dann in dem naechsten Spiel mussten wir wieder Augenverbinden dem Vordermann auf die Schulter packen und dnan einen Parkour laufen. & zum Schluss mussten wir dnan riechen und schmecken auch mit Augen zu. Es war alles echt sehr cool. Ausserdem haben wir jeder einen Tshirt bekommen und eine Youthcard und eine Mappe. Gleich gibt es Essen, hoffentlich gibt es was gutes, denn ich bin shcon ziehmlich hungrig. Jetzt faengt das so langsam an wo man echt die anderen Gruppen besser kennenlernt und so.
Naja heute Abend ist die Bulgarische Nacht, mal sehen wie das wird. Aber aus Erfahrung wahrscheinlich sehr sehr gut. Wir hatten gestern. Der Platz war ein bisschen unguenstig aber es ging wohl. Die Italiener waren auch sehr gut, wie ich fande.

Naja, dnan geh ich nun mal wieder ein bisschen braun werden :)

primi giorni a Nerva (1,2,3,4/ 08/ 2008)

Hola chicos. Ecco passati i primi giorni dello scambio!!! Dopo un viaggio turbolento e un po' stancante, siamo arrivati al camping, dove gli spagnoli ci attendevano. I primi momenti sono stati imbarazzanti, ma siamo riusciti a socializzare velocemente, soprattutto con gli Spagnoli che hanno mostrato tutta la loro ospitalita' e il loro calore. Le presentazioni vere e proprie sono iniziate pero' la mattina seguente, attraverso attivita' semplici e divertenti allo stesso tempo. Nel pomeriggio Pilar, la coordinatrice, c'ha accompagnati alla miniera del Riotinto, un fiume rosso nei pressi di Nerva. In questo modo abbiamo avuto l'occasione di gustare il paesaggio con il trenino che accostava fiume e miniere. La parte piu' divertente della giornata, in ogni caso,e' stata la sera: tutti e quattro i gruppi sono stati fuori a chiacchierare in tutte le possibili lingue che abbiamo in comune guardando il magnifico cielo stellato di Nerva. Ieri, visita sotto il caldo (anche 45 gradi) della magnifica "Sevilla" e la sera piscina insieme, cena e veglia alle stelle!!!
Oggi visita a Nerva con punti calienti comune, mercato e museo d'arte contemporanea.

in den letzten paar tagen haben wir die spanier italiener und bulgaren kennengelernt. sie sind eig. wohl so ganz nett. hier ist es total heiss und auch ein bisschen langweilig weil wir museen besuchen und sowas alles. naja aber sonst ist das hier eig. ganz schoen. Gestern waren wir in sevilla und haben uns ein schloss anguckt dann sind wir durch den schlosspark durch den stadtpark und zu einer kirche gelaufen.. es war total anstrengend weil wir bei 45 grad mindestens 5km gelaufen sind.. :/ Als wir wieder im camp waren sind wir dann schwimmen gegangen und hatten danach eine lach therapie. Das war eig. tooooootal witzig =DDas Fruestueck ist scheisse. trockenes brot mit butter ?! *-* xD.

Mi experiencia en el intercambio

Me llamo Cristina.Tengo 15 años.Soy de Nerva y participo en este intercambio.Aunque tan solo llevo 4 días aquí me lo estoy pasando muy bien y ya hecho amigos.Esto es una experiencia inolvidable y muy parecida a una que he tenido antes.
Hemos hecho muchas actividades para conocernos.

Expectations from Bulgaria

As you probably know, our non-governmental organisation UNESCO Club is taking part in many different projects concerning our town and its society. What is more, we are working with and in favour of young people.

That is why every single youngster in our group is looking forward to sharing with the other guys his or her personal experience and practices in social and civil activities. We are very interested to know what our coevals within the European Union do about the development of their cities. We would like to know what they do in order to be active and responsible citizens, because society is formed by all the people in the city, but the young people are the ones who have to make it flourish and prosper in every single aspect.

All the cities around the globe have more or less the same problems no matter whether it comes to cultural, economic, civil or even industrial development. We truly believe that during this youth exchange we will be able to share our ideas on how to solve such kind of problems. We also hope that we will get the opportunity to represent our suggestions in innovative and interesting ways. One of our intentions is to make one of the so called Open Space discussions, where some of the most contemporary problems will be pointed out and together we will find a way to solve them.

Another intention of ours is to get to know young people from different European countries and we hope that while communicating and exchanging experience with them, we will learn more about social life in Spain, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. We would like to know more about the countries' cultures, traditions and current development.

Of course, one of our greatest expectations is to have fun! We are very willing to get to know Spain and we hope that while working, we will be able to find out new and interesting facts about the country, its history and traditions. It is always good when you get to know other people's lifestyle and we are very happy to be a part of this youth exchange.

The Pre-Visit

The pre-visit for the Exchange took place in Nerva from the 11th until de 13th of July. It´s was very useful to do the following things:

1. Promote the relationship of the human team responsible of the exchange.
2. To supervise the accommodation and activities installations.
3. To work about the Programme.
4. To decide how to work the active participation in all the phases of the exchange.
5. To decide how to work the security and safety during the exchange.
6. To approve the valorisation and visibility actions. 7. To report all the information required for the parents in every country.
